Our mission is to harness the power of our communities and provide funding that allows Somerset NHS Foundation Trust to go beyond what the NHS alone is able to deliver. We improve patient care by funding facilities, services, projects and equipment.

We are a family of charities that work hand in hand with the trust to make sure their work is having as much impact as it possibly can. Our charities are:

• Love Musgrove is the official charity of Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. The money it raises is used to fund new projects, buildings and equipment that make a real difference for patients at the hospital. Over the years it has had an incredible impact across our services including funding transformational projects in maternity, cancer, radiology and our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Yeovil Hospital Charity is the official charity of Yeovil Hospital. It raises money to fund new projects, buildings and equipment that make a difference for patients at what is often a difficult time. With the support of the community, the charity has funded a huge range of exciting projects throughout the hospital.
• Somerset NHS Charity is a new addition to our charity family and will fundraise for county-wide NHS projects and projects that fall outside our two main district hospitals. It will raise funds to make a difference at our community hospitals, our mental health services and across our other community-based services.
