Introduction

Spend 11 days in Borneo, landing in Kota Kinabalu where you will trekking through the Borneo jungle, in the footsteps of the native Dusun community. You will pass through primary and secondary jungle, and numerous villages. Through this you will gain a unique, first-hand insight into life on this remote island. A highlight of the trip will be when you pay a visit to a sanctuary which works to rehabilitate orphaned and injured orang-utan back into the wild. See the amazing 'wild man of Borneo' close up and learn about the work being done to preserve the fragile rainforest and its endearing inhabitants.

Project Work

You will be to spend 2 days working on a local community project where your time and effort will greatly improve facilities for the local population.
